The Making of Modu's Trailblazing Brand
The Challenge
Modu pride themselves on doing consultancy differently. Their unique ‘Pathfinding’ approach set them aside from their competitors, but their communications were failing to explain their groundbreaking process clearly and effectively for the average consumer.
We joined Modu on a six week journey to capture the narrative behind the Modu brand and develop clear brand message that would both resonate with and excite their target audience. Then we translated this messaging over to the brand new Modu website.
Where others fear to tread
Over a series of workshops, we helped Modu refine their messaging and discover a new way of talking about their brand and process. We did this is four key steps:
1// Brand Articulation
Modu had a process, but not a clear brand story. Our first step was discover this story and refine it into a clear narrative, mission statement and set of values that could inform all of Modu’s communications going forward.
2// Communication strategy
The next step was to take Modu’s new brand documents and turn them into a clear communications strategy, enabling the Modu sales teams to describe and sell their services clearly and effectively for improved lead generation.
3// User journey mapping
We rerouted the customer journey through the Modu website, providing an improved site map and UX copy to steer potential customers organically toward conversion.
4// Website refresh
Using Modu’s new brand documents, we rewrote nine key landing pages, weaving in the new Modu tone of voice, updating the values and messaging, and optimising the site for SEO best practice.

Our improved site copy, UX and SEO optimisation enabled Modu to improve their organic lead generation, inviting new leads from week one of the site going live.
